    8:00am 3 Gun Match – 3 Gun is one of the Action Shooting Sports where competitors use three firearms: a modern sporting rifle (MSR), a pistol, and a shotgun.     Military Surplus Rifle Maintenance Class. Disassembly/cleaning/reassembly class for Springfield 1903, Mosin Nagant, Mauser K98k, and Enfield bolt action milsurp rifles.

    March 24, 2018 beginning at 11:00 am at the Clinton Township Community Center. Open to the public. ASC Volunteer staff will walk you through how to care for your WWII rifles. The class will be held at the Clinton Township Community Center in downtown Waterman, IL. 

    Don’t have a rifle but want to come anyway and learn a thing or two? You’ll be welcome.

    We provide: cleaning rod, paper towels, Hoppe#9, patches, screw drivers, etc. for all to share. Please feel free to bring your own supplies, too.

  • Youth Programs
    The Aurora Sportsmen's Club is pleased to offer young shooters (ages 10-17) the opportunity to develop their shooting skills and start or make progress on Winchester/NRA Marksmanship qualification programs in Pistol, Rifle or Shotgun disciplines. 

    These programs can be used by all scouting programs to make progress and complete requirements for their Archery and Shooting Sports awards and badges.  This includes, but is not limited to Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, American Heritage Girls and Trail Life.  Please bring your records of completed prerequisites if you have them.

  • IDPA Monthly Pistol Match and Skills Drills

    Click on the tabs at the left, listed under "Rifle/Pistol" for details and registration link.

    All skill drills and matches are open to the public. The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) events simulate self-defense scenarios and real life encounters. Geared toward the new or average shooter, they are fun, challenging and rewarding.
