3 Gun (Ranges E5 through E9)

ASC 3 Gun will start the season in April with a train up day, and then have matches throughout the season.

Train up day is designed for anyone who would like to practice on the east bays, drawing from the holster, moving and shooting, and practicing different objects one would typically see in a 3 gun match. We encourage all to bring out someone who is new or who has shown interest in shooting 3 gun to help grow the sport.

Matches will have a full day schedule with 5 stages each match. Mission 22 is our premier match and will be even larger spread over the entire weekend.

Set up is all volunteer work the day prior to each match starting at 12 noon. Please help with setup to keep our matches complex and entertaining.

All participants who also RO will shoot the match for free.

Safety Brief Location: East Side Building Lounge

Brought to you by ASC Action Shooting Sports.

Details and Requirements:

  • $0 Fee. Open to Members and their guests over the age of 18.

  • Night Shoot will be run by the ASC Action Shooting Sports teams of Practical Rifle, 2 Gun, and TASC volunteering their time to make this event possible.
  • Limited to 60 Registrations to ensure safety. DO NOT SIGN UP AND NO SHOW. We fully expect this to fill up, so please be respectful and commit if you register.
  • All attendees must be at the safety brief at 5 pm. NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE SAFETY BRIEF. If you miss the safety Brief you will not shoot the night event and will be spectating.
  • Pistols Allowed: All non-magnum pistols using either Handheld and/or Weapon Mounted lights are allowed.
    • If you have a Weapon Mounted Light you SHOULD also have a handheld light. Do not show up with only a Weapon Mounted Light. A Handheld light is a requirement.

  • This will be a cold range. Your firearms will remain unloaded and clear at all times unless instructed by an RO at the stage you are working with. If you are moving from stage to stage you will unload and show clear with an RO BEFORE you move to another area, and you will not reload unless an RO instructs you.

  • TASC Team will be on Bay E6 helping with handheld and weapon mounted lights.

Format:

  • We will begin with a Safety Brief, and then move into groups where we practice using our handheld and WML’s in full light conditions. As lighting fades we will pivot to an open format where attendees can move to the range bay that they are most interested in spending time on, and similar to Zombie Shoot sign up onto the list to either run the stage, or participate in the drills taking place at that bay.
    • All attendees must be at the safety brief at 5 pm. NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE SAFETY BRIEF. If you miss the safety Brief you will not shoot the night event and will be spectating.
    •  THIS WILL BE A COLD RANGE UNLESS INSTRUCTED BY AN RO. DO NOT MOVE BETWEEN BAYS WITH LOADED FIREARMS.
