The Aurora Sportsmen's Club is one of Northern Illinois oldest and largest private shooting sports facilities. Incorporated over 50 years ago, the Aurora Sportsmen's Club (ASC) presently offers a wide range of shooting programs for both the membership and non-member general public. The Club is proud of their tradition of Community Service and Education.

ASC facilities are located on the western perimeter of the greater Chicago metropolitan area (in Sugar Grove) and include shotgun sports fields, rifle and pistol ranges, an indoor air rifle range and archery practice and competition ranges. Our regular club shooting activities include: shotgun sports, Trap, Skeet, Sporting Clays with instruction available; Rifle and pistol with CMP and junior rifle training, NRA rifle and pistol competitions, and monthly matches. NMLRA muzzleloader competition matches; and archery competition events are also regular monthly features. Additionally, ASC hosts, through out the year, special events open to members and to the general public as well.

Club Membership is private and open to new members mostly by invitation. Shooting facilities are open to Club members and invited guests only. The Club is, however, open to the general public for Trap Shooting each Friday evening between 6:30 and 11:00 PM. It is also open to the general public for Archery, Rifle/Pistol, and Muzzleloading match shooting on regular designated Sundays each month.

ASC participates in numerous public education programs including the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Hunter Safety Training, Civilian Marksmanship Program Training, Junior Rifle (and Boy Scout Merit Badge) training and instruction, Shotgun Sports instruction and training, Women's Firearm Training, handicapped shoot, and other special instruction courses. ASC maintains a well trained staff of NRA Certified Firearm instructors in all the shooting sports disciplines.
