Non-Member Access

Many events and activities are open to the public. Check the Upcoming Events listing and the Club Calendar for more information. Aurora Sportsmen's Club (ASC) does not offer open, unsupervised access to the ranges for individuals who are not club members.

Private Group Shooting Events: To inquire about packages for corporate outings; group instruction; special celebrations; bachelor parties and other special event shooting sessions, send a message to groupevents@aurorasc.org

"Shotty Blast" and "Clays Commander" private events. These packages include: firearms for use, ammunition, safety equipment, professional instruction, on-field coaching and clay targets for groups of five to twenty participants. 


Sporting Clays Course: Non-member groups of five or more shooters can request access by appointment. ASC has a challenging 100-target walking course with a variety of presentations in native prairie and wild pheasant habitat. Send a message to groupevents@aurorasc.org for availability. Other Range Use: ASC may choose to make ranges available for classes or events. Guest Instructors may be given access if course content and provider meet our Training Center of Excellence program standards. Fee information and specific requirements will be provided on a case-by-case basis.

Firearm Practice, Events and Instruction Facilities: The Aurora Sportsmen’s Club (ASC) is a gated, private shooting club organized as an Illinois Not-for-Profit 501(c)(7) Corporation dedicated to Shooting Sports, Conservation and Education.  The club is run entirely by volunteers. It is the oldest and largest private shooting sports club in Northern Illinois and has outdoor rifle/pistol ranges from 50 foot to 600 yard distances.  Shotgun Sports has: trap fields, skeet fields, 5-stand and a sporting clays course. Many classes and events are open to the general public and non-members are welcome to participate. 

More Information: ASC does not offer open shooting access to the general public, or unsupervised range time for individuals who are not members of the club. Detailed information for non-member and private group access is available by email to groupevents@aurorasc.org.

All non-member groups using ASC ranges must agree to certain terms and conditions which are provided in advance. ASC reserves the right to deny range use to any non-member or group without explanation or cause.
